Özaltın Cengiz JV
Construction works of Kalehan Energy Group Projects are carried out by Özaltın Cengiz JV. The partnership consists of two companies; Özaltın İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi and Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi. The shareholding structure of the partners is 50-50%.
Özaltın Cengiz JV has already completed the construction of two projects of Kalehan Energy Group and is currently continuing the construction of another project.
The construction of Beyhan I Dam and HEPP Project, owned by Kalehan Beyhan Energy Generation Corp. and located on the Murat River within the borders of Elazığ Province with a thalweg elevation of 903.40 m, was completed in May 2015 by Özaltın Cengiz JV. With an installed capacity of 582.10 MWe, Beyhan I Dam and HEPP had the largest installed capacity among the HEPP projects established by the private sector at the year of its completion.
In addition; the Upper Kaleköy Dam and HEPP Project owned by Kalehan Kale Energy Generation Corp., located on the same river at 1102.50 m thalweg elevation within the boundaries of Bingöl Province, was also constructed by Özaltın Cengiz JV and completed in February 2018. With an installed capacity of 626.85 MWe, Yukarı Kaleköy Dam and HEPP is the largest HEPP by installed capacity realized by the private sector in Turkey.
Finally; the Lower Kaleköy Dam and HEPP Project owned by Kalehan Genç Energy Generation Corp. was constructed on the Murat River at 1012.00 m thalweg elevation within the boundaries of Bingöl Province also by Özaltın Cengiz JV. The construction was completed in December 2019. At the time it began operation, Lower Kaleköy Dam and HEPP became the 6ᵗʰ largest HEPP by installed capacity realized by the private sector with its installed capacity of 500.00 MWe.

Main designer and consultant companies for Kalehan Energy Group Projects are Pöyry and Temelsu. They are already assigned as “the designer” in Beyhan-1 Dam and HEPP Project, Upper Kaleköy Dam and HEPP Project and Lower Kaleköy Dam and HEPP Project of the Group. They are also assigned as the consultant in 3 other projects of the Group, which are: Beyhan-2 Dam and HEPP Project, Palu Diversion Weir and HEPP Project and Gözeler Diversion Weir and HEPP Project.

Temelsu is registered with the following international institutions: World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Development Fund, Kuwait Fund for Arabic Economic Development, and FIDIC. In addition to its projects as a consulting engineer in Turkey, the company has still been undertaking a large number of projects funded by international financing institutions in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan.
